The standard of the hotel has up through the 20th century been very changing, but presently Grand Hotel has risen to its former status as a four-star hotel, after a complete renovation and re-decoration in 1998.

The hotel's Grand Bar is open 7 days a week from 12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight. In the summer guests can enjoy the french inspired outdoor cafe.
